Bahamas Island

It doesn’t matter if you are a snorkeling fan or you love spending time in fishing and boating, Bahamas has more than enough opportunities for you to do what you like. The place is loaded with amazing white beaches and those who love spending a vacation close to water are not going to get in any place better than Bahamas.

The natural beauty in this part of the world is enough to enchant all visitors and that’s the reason why you can see more and more people planning a vacation to this part of the world.

Although it is true that all facilities are available in Bahamas to help you have amazing fun, few people like doing things differently. One big question of the people is about finding some supplies to do some of their cooking on their own. Of course, there are hotels and restaurants to get some delicious food, some people just dare to be different. And, why not? You are on vacations and you have every right to make it more adventurous and fulfilling experience.

Now, it is possible to find all sorts of things in different parts of Bahamas, but if you are in Out Islands, you need to handle things differently. The supply boats visit the island twice a week, Thursday and Friday. This is to supply the fruits and veggies to Out Islands. These are sent to different grocery stores and you can visit one to do the shopping. Johnson’s grocery and Piggly Wiggly are two big names offering large assortments of goods.

In addition, there are several corner stores offering things you never expect in this area. For instance, you can find New York Jungle Fudge Ice Cream along with other stuff like fresh fish and lobster. You can have all this and much more just by visiting the North End of the Bay Street. A number of Pineapple shops are also available in the area where you can find all sorts of vegetables and fruits. And, don’t forget to visit a new Meat and seafood market store in this very area.

So, now you have the answer to your first question. But, what about the other question? Well, this question is about the fear of visiting this place for the very first time. Many people think they are not safe in Bahamas or Out Islands because the places are quite remote.

This is not true; in fact, the locals are very warm and friendly and help you have a great time in Out Islands. Especially, if you are in Cat Islands, you will fall in love with the people and their hospitality. They wave you and invite you to come to their home and be a part of their personal island life. The island is informal, but safe and extremely happy.

The crux of the matter is that Bahamas is one great place to visit these holidays. There is something for everyone; boating, kayaking, snorkeling, golfing, and nature hiking are only few of the amazing things to do in here. So, pack your bags, say goodbye to your hectic lifestyle, and visit Bahamas for a perfect vacation.

That rss option on your website here is awesome, you should tell more folks about it in your next post. I haven’t noted it for the first couple of times, now I’m using it each morning to check on any updates. I’m on a very slow dial-up connection in Ohio and it’s quite daunting to sit there and wait for such a long time ’til the page loads… but hey, I just found your rss page and added it to the Google Reader and there you are… I’m always up-to-date! Well pal, keep up the good work and make that rss button a little bigger so that other people can enjoy that as well :-P
